SCOUSE PILGRIM HIGHLY RECOMMENDS LUNCH AT .......
« on: January 06, 2012, 01:50:48 PM »
......Boston's own department store.

Best ever and helps the shareholders.

Forget the Pilgrim lounge fayre and Cookie's earnest calling as Director of Sunday Lunches, get the missus to Boston's own department store and that includes you Melvin :-*

Ken, be a sweetie-pie and put a sticky on this if you would old man - thanks.

Now if this was the "Oldrids' Oddballs" discussion list instead of "Pilgrims' Patter"....  ;)

whoops! I mistook Pilgrim's Patter for the Chris Cook director's guide to fine dining.

As I am neither and I know my place - I realise the error of my ways.

So are you now in cahoots with the club and getting a lunchtime grub discount or just losing your erstwhile respected independence?   ::)

I'm still pretty much independent.

I know Oldrids has a great restaurant, but aren't they closed on Sundays?

I am relieved to hear this Ken. Never suspected you to be the blazer wearing gravy train hanger on type in ther first place.

I will have a word with the management about Sunday opening.  Do not the two out of town places keep hungry customers replete with tasty noshings on the sabbath?  :-*

Lumpy Gravy and no Xmas pie this year think I'll give the big shop a miss and stick to the value for money grub in our fine town.

Open on Sundays throughout November, December and January.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Tried lunch there once and it was pretty awful.
A bit like school dinners  :o

Anyone tried the nearby Ball House?
I've heard its run by the same people who run the Mill...you get a decent meal in there everytime  :dan
