I could understand him signing for Portsmouth with all those sailors, but does he realise the supposed ratio in Nottingham is four females to every male?

He went for the 5 year contract at Notts. Not offered that anywhere else, at his age I would have done the same.

He has signed as a player/coach, so he may last the 5 years...
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

I thought that was the case too but according to the 2nd paragraph of this article - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/n/notts_county/8218136.stm, the five year deal is purely in a playing capacity.

I think the point is that he now has a home for as long as HE decides he wants to play football where as most ageing players get past from pillar to post every 6 months.

Up the Pies, purely in a money talks kind of way, MY money talking if they romp home  ;D
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.
