Leon Constantine

Not sure how reliable the source is, but apparently we've signed Constantine from Lewes:

http://nonleague.pitchero.com/news/much-travelled-striker-joins-boston-9300/

Presumably the i's haven't been dotted & the t's crossed or else Craig would have announced it officially but it does match the "LC" initials that were mentioned on here (sorry, can't remember who by!) a couple of weeks ago.

He was prolific for Port Vale but that was a few years ago now.

Certainly lives up to the experienced striker tag. Lets hope he plays and scores a couple on Boxing day against Eastwoods new keeper.

Hmmm, he has had 2 really good seasons, the rest have been so so.  Never seems to stay in one place for very long.  Worth a punt but I hope we haven't tied him into a contract.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Agree LCB, seems to have been round the block a bit, would have preferred an up and coming youngster, but as always difficult to find, if he can do a job for us for the rest of the season and push us into that play off place I would be more than happy.

Should this be true I'd welcome him to Boston; okay might be a bit of a 'traveller striker' but a real proven player. Merry Christmas and up the Pilgrims!!!

Not sure if he has been injured or what but he doesn't seem to have played for them for a while and has only scored one goal for them this season in a league that contains the might of the Met Police and our old friends Wealdstone. Interesting to see who has been playing up front for them though: a certain Albert Jarrett, who I thought would have ended up higher up the pyramid than that!

very happy with this signing. at our level and given his past exploits at a much higher level then i think we could be finding some goals again.

100 goals in 358 games. scores in every 3 and a half games  ;D

Newsham stats are about the same this season with JL scoring on every 3.

If they can get there heads together and alternate there 1 in 3 in different games and not concead any we are on a winner.

Merry xmas folks and have a good one

At least he's not Stones/Suarez/Joachim........

I'll make my own mind up after we've played some decent sides, not the bottom feeders who I expect us to take 12/12 out of over the next couple of weeks.

Having a look at the vidio he does score the type of goals that we are missing. Some body who wants to have a crack and also take note................... He also gets in the positions you expect a striker to get in
