I know their manager / physio aimed a load of 'f' words at people in the Main stand at the final whistle. Horrible human being - a very bad sport and should know better.

They were indeed asked to leave, and did so quietly. Poor discipline that lot, on and off the pitch.

I remember one match when we played them in the 90s - another bad tempered game with a lot of nastiness from their bench throughout.  We were 2-1 down going into inury time, but ended up winning 3-2 - I think Phil Brown got the winner.

This was in the days when every physio had a bucket of water, and when we pointed out that they had got what their tactics deserved, they threw their bucket of water at us - it was like being at the circus.

It's obviously something in the water!

I remember that game - never have I celebrated a winner as much as that, in part because it was a stunning comeback, but mainly because they were a bunch of Steve Evans and got exactly what they deserved. I think I asked Ken to run me off the Standard's match report a while back, if I think on I'll get it scanned in at some point.
