Disgusting the lads not been given a chance although I suspected something might happen when he said on radio " What we have to do is get our tails in front"

Won promotion with Southend and experienced ,  just what many on here would want in a manager.

And his complete inability to get anything out of his side.

Considering he has had something like 3 wins in the last 26 games, he must have had a wonderful start.

Good Work agent Tilson, mission complete.

Lincoln should have sacked him after being relegated.

I agree they didn't give him long enough. Should have given him this season and next season and then we could have been playing them in a local derby. Work that one out.
Seriously though, managers nowadays know they are in a risky position when they go into management. Interesting how he and Little were always blaming the lack of ability/effort by the players for the poor results. I always think that players will play for the manager or not depending on their view of him, look how G,borough changed when Little went.

I've always thought the lower down the pyramid you go, the less important tactics become. Its all about who's got the best contacts to get the good players.

Then all the manager does is say "er, just score more goals than them".

For example I reckon anyone on this forum could have got Crawley promoted last season.

His record at Lincoln speaks for itself.

Never prepared to accept any blame, one excuse after another.

I am unhappy at him being sacked, but only because it means that Lincoln might actually pick up some points now   :bunny

I agree, there are exceptions to the rule, but changing the game by tactics is the thing of the professional game. Managers at this level install an ethos, mainly by the players they hire.

I agree - it would have been nice if they'd waited until the end of this season  ;)
