Heard a rumour via a friend in the midlands that sleathy is wanted by Alfreton. Apparantly they tried to sign him before the season started and have just released a midfield player (dont know if its true ) and are on his case again, anyone heard anything?

Sleath has been fantastic for us and is probably the only player left able to step up to the league above. Hope he does stay and presumably he is one of the players under contract until the summer. Having said that contracts mean little in at any level of football these days and he lives in Derby...

Alfreton are offloading players at an increasing rate.  Broughton has left today too.

They're on a fastrack back to the BSN or oblivion so would be a bad move.

Wouldn't want to see him go because he would be greatly missed but wouldn't want to stand in his way if he thought it was good move for him. Brilliant work ethic but for some reason things not quite gone his way in last couple of games.
