I'm guessing Jelleyman wasn't fully fit on Saturday, after Stainfield failed a fitness test.. fits straight in at left back for Saturday?

Looks a good fit to be fair.

However as far as building for the future goes........

Baz,JL, LC, Jelly,Whitey,Austin,Armstrong........ all the wrong side of 30 and none getting any younger.

Yeah,yeah, I'm being negative again......blah,blah.........its a point worth noting though.

Just look at some of the Premeirship Players who are 30+, here's a few:

M. Ballacck -  Chelsea - 33
D. Drogba  -  Chelsea - 32
N. Anelka   -  Chelsea - 31

Their ages dom't seem to be affecting Chelsea's game much!!

Man united didn't do to bad last season with Owen, Giggs, Scholes, van Der sar, Neville, Ferdinand and Berbarov in their squad who are all over 30. Age isn't important, class is

well considering M. Ballack doesn't play for them anymore chelsea are doing quite well  ;)

Teddy Sheringham was 42 when he finally retired and from what I can remember he was still scoring goals at a fairly decent level.
