Good luck to him, but it's a little bit disappointing. Having cited work commitments as his reason for not playing for us, he's now taken a role that will surely clash just as much with his work commitments? (probably more so, as I think management is virtually a full-time job even if it's called part-time)
I've no problem with Lawrie deciding not to play for us this season, whatever his reasons, and really appreciate him helping us out last season - he had a big impact on our team in a short time.
