Keep the faith? Sorry, I never had any faith in these two managers and unfortunately I can't see any reason to acquire any.

Obviously they're hampered by budget to some extent but I'd have thought a scouting network that went further than looking in old BUFC programmes might have helped unearth a few keen young players.

This lot look make Tommy Taylor's side look like Man U.

I can't think of a single player brought in to the club since the summer(or brought back in some cases)who would have got into last seasons side and that says it all for me.We lack quality all over the pitch. It's not even as if we have played anyone of any quality. As far as i can see we haven't yet played anyone in the top half of the table yet.God help us when we do....

This tells it's own ominous story

Results                     Opposition Position    Points
Workington 2-1 W    22nd                          5
Vauxhall      2-1 L      17th                          9
Nuneatom   2-0 L      7th                            10
Harrogate   2-0 W     13th                          11
FC Halifax    0-0 D      16th                         10
Bishops       1-0 W     21st                          6
Solihull        1-0 L       20th                          6
Blyth            1-0 L      18th                          9

I think every single game we would have expected to take 3 points or atleats 1 point from, i think if we had the squad of last year we would be on 23ish points - all our opposition have been poor we've scraped wins form the worst of the worst at Bishops and Workington and been outclassed by lowly Solihull

This is Boston I'm afraid. Unless we win the league each year by 10 points or most of the mushrooms on here will moan.

Kind of makes Gainsborough look good when they've managed to maintain 400-500 with about 50 years of non achievement!  We have a few bad results folowing a season in the play-offs and suddenly we're looking at losing a third of the gate!

We do have a large percentage of floaty fans, almost another 1000 crawled out of the woodwork for the Guiseley game last season

But despite it being fantastic entertainment and a superb advert for all that is good in football.  They didn't see fit to return for the first game of the new season.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.
