Pub for Blyth away
« on: September 13, 2011, 01:53:52 PM »
Hello all

Im Mark, Blyth fan and landlord of the closest pub to Croft Park, The Masons Arms. Im just on to say any travelling fans are more than welcome in the pub before and after the match this Saturday. We are just a few hundred yards further along Plessey Road than the ground (post code NE24 3JD opposite house number 109 for sat-navs) We have a decent size car park which you can use (parking is normally sparce at the ground)

We normally get a fair few of the home fans meeting inhere which helps lead to a good bit of banter before the match, we have sky sports in and will be showing the arsenal v blackburn game at 12.45. we sell the usual range of lager beer and cider aswell as real ale which should be Theakstons Lighfoot and Theakstons XB this weekend. We also serve hot bar snacks, toasties etc and hot drinks. We also welcome children.

Any questions??

Hope to see some of you on Saturday

Mark

Our little clan isn't represented this week, but we were in the Mason's Arms last year, nice pub.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Blyth 0 Boston 0 then, it normally is when I don't go.  Think I missed all our 0-0's last year and didn't miss many others.
