Adam Millson joins Wisbech on dual registration
« on: September 08, 2011, 04:53:50 PM »

See link...

... How does this dual registration work? If Boston and Wisbech have fixtures at the same time, who gets first call on his services?

Also, Wisbech are still involved in the FA Cup but have another game to play before Boston even enter the competition. I assume we wouldn't want him cup-tied. As we signed him first, can we prevent him from playing for them?

I think to be fair its about time we put Milly out of his misery. Hes returned after horrendous injuries time and again but is just not good enough for this level and  the level above. Each season begins with new midfielders above him in the pecking order.Time to be honest with the lad and release hlm.

We could do a dual registration with Wisbech for Nimmo!

Don't understand this as in my opinion Milly has looked superb when I have seen him (twice) this season, tidy in possesion, strong in the tackle, and looked like he has really come on and matured in the last couple of years with a great box-to-box performance against Histon especially.

I thought he looked pretty good in the games I've seen, was probably our best midfielder at nuneaton

With 5 centre midfielders in the squad (contending for 2 starting places if we play 442) they can't all play so someone had to go.When Milson was signed I did get the feeling that he was only signed because Sleath wasn't available for the first few games. It might free up funds to bring in a striker. He's played for the reserves a few times this season which is better than not playing but Rigeons League is a better level than the Lincs League for him to be getting match fit.

Good move for all parties, he gets called upon if we need him, but also gets games if we don't. Like others I've been impressed with him so far this season.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

He can come back if any of the present midfielders fall short or get injured and will only get match fit by playing regularly, so I reckon it will be a good move for him and us.

If you look around the local setups there are many names that have played or come through the ranks here in the past few years.  What we have in Steve Welsh is a quality youth manager who has provided Lincolnshire with some talent.  It's possibly the best thing to come out of stint in the Football League.

Surprised no one has mentioned the youth team comfortably knocking Imps out of the FA youth cup on  Weds.

It was Lincoln United. Otherwise, I agree.

We could of done with Millson today a good player that works his socks off and wants to play for the club

Unlike Mickey Stones, shame on him
