Wherever we went today, as I had my iPhone out, people were asking if we knew anything about what had happened to the Red Arrows pilot. Unfortunately it was an unhappy ending. It does seem like he was trying to make sure his plane didn't crash into houses, and possibly sacrificed himself in the process. We almost expect it from our armed forces, but when it's so close to home it's suddenly easier to appreciate the sacrifice.
I think that this eloquently expresses a sentiment that we all share at this time.
