Attendance Competition - win £50 voucher
« on: August 16, 2011, 09:47:27 AM »
I see the club have a competition with a prize of a £50 voucher for use in the online club shop by simply predicting the attendance of tonight's opening home fixture against Histon.

You can enter on the club shop site at: http://www.bufconline.com/

Did anyone predict an attendance that low? Poor turnout from the Boston public only 1222 there after the way we finished last season.

well not quite that low but it was 1234 only 12 out. Was it the nearest or does it have to be bang on.

I went for 1210 but only on here didn't know about the competition on the O/S so you might be in luck.

Maybe the attendance is affected by farmers harvesting and families on holiday at this time of year - couldn't help feeling disappointed with the number in attendance though.  :-[

Slightly disappointing turnout (not that I went, but that's par for the course), probably best explained by the fact it was a midweek opener and the a general air of negativity that has surrounded pre-season. Saturday will surely see a larger crowd, even accounting for the fact Vauxhall will most likely only be able to muster a handful of fans.

Oh come on you moaners, 1222 at a mid-week match during holiday time, most of the teams in this league, and above, would be grateful for an attendance like that on a Saturday!!

  • I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request.

Always comes up every year.
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.
