2nd best to a very average Lincoln side. Tom Ward we must be able to do better than him

You can refer back to this post at Christmas, until then get behind the team.

In trouble? Hardly, defence is a slight worry but we have lost Pearson and Murphy.

There's no escaping the fact we haven't got the same quality or strength in depth in the squad that we had last season.

well all we seem to hear from "Chelsea" is moan moan moan moan. for gods sake its practically a new team, we've lost the heart of defence and midfield but we're working at it. maybe you should have gone to gainsborough on tuesday and see what we can do. yes the defence really lacked position and kept falling about but its still pre-season, not sure anyone knows what our strongest team is yet. so stop the bloody moaning and get behind the team

Why do people still respond to Chelsea threads? Clearly on a wind up and has been since the name was registered.

Whilst the season certainly isn't over we won't be successful unless we are solid at the back like the last couple of seasons. Hopefully the managers are still looking for a centre half wether it be a loan of permanent signing. Until a new player of the right quality is bought in the best solution we have is to play Lee Cannoville and Kev Austin in the middle. There is no escape some of the defensive frailties pre season Parker isn't fit and Ward isn't good enough yet.

Agree 100%.I also believe we still need a striker.

Budget has been spent now according to Canners, players have to go out for others to come in.

Then it's been poorly spent IMO.If it has been spent then so be it.It doesn't alter the fact that we are short of quality in two key positions.

If I was the Manager or Chairman of Lincoln City, I would be more worried about their team than I would be if I was the Managers / Chairman of ours!

agree with that comment dont think they won many headers without having one of our players in an arm lock or shoving them out the way.
