Bazza, Big Kev, Holgrove, Canners, Jockey all missing through injury.

If true, a little worrying. hopefully that should read 'rested'

Of the trialists, Millson stood out for me. Leary and Shaw? didn't have the best of games
Semple's looking brilliant though :)

I know these games are only friendlies and used to assess the potential of trialists ect, but to be beaten by Town and only manage a draw against Stamford (a bit of a bogey team to us), IMO it just doesn't bode well for the coming season, and I'm usually very optimistic before the start of any season.

Yeah we are that bad we are going to get relegated with no points no goals for and 150 against.

no win in three against teams in much lower divisions.  Hardly fills you with optimism.

Last night was a definite  improvement on Saturday could have gone in 3or4-1 at halftime and if we had continued with the starting line-up it would have been a comfortable win, Semps was superb and unlucky not to have a hat-trick! Once the substitutions were made we lost direction and there was little creativity going forward. Hard on Drury as he did make a brilliant save later but a taller keeper including Bazza would have collected the shot that was there 2nd goal, thought Parker and the other central defender played well along with Millson. So bearing in mind the abscence of the 'rested' players not a bad result as townender says against a 'bogey team'
