Good luck to him. Showed glimpses of quality and has proven himself at a lower level but didn't quite fit in the formation we were trying to play at the time.

Which Jamie Clarke?  The boozey midfielder or the super sub striker?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Taken from the website of Coalville Town FC ...

Quote
Coalville Town's squad continues to look stronger and stronger ahead of their first season in the Evo-Stik First Division South after manager Adam Stevens completed the signings of defender Dan Parker and forward Jamie Clarke.

Parker is a commanding centre-half who joins after Stevens saw off interest in the defender from Worcester City and Bedworth United. The 27-year old Parker was widely recognised as one of the best defenders in the Midland Alliance after six seasons playing for Boldmere St. Michaels and Tipton Town. Parker will reunite with Ross Brown at Coalville after the pair formed a formidable partnership at Tipton, making over 100 appearances between them last season as Tipton recorded the best defensive record in the Alliance while also reaching the FA Cup first round.

Clarke is a strong front man who brings to the club a wealth of experience of Northern League football. The 29-year old started out at Ilkeston Town and has since played for King's Lynn, Grantham Town, Stamford, Corby Town, Quorn and Boston United. Clarke has been a regular goal-scorer wherever he has played and will add even more bite to the Ravens impressive strikeforce.

Both Parker and Clarke have featured in recent friendlies with both making immediate impressions, Parker with his flawless defending and Clarke with two assists for strike partner Chris Gummery in Coalville's recent 3-1 victory at Barwell.

All at Coalville would like to welcome Dan and Jamie to the club and look forward to seeing them contribute to the ongoing successes.
