Craig tweeted that it was unlikely he'll be in the squad today...

Goodnight

You've not won me over I still have the same views, just we were going round in circles which was pretty pointless.

GHM how do you know Hocking isn't signing?

As Murdoch tries to become Mr Nice Guy (impossible) . . then the Club mouthpiece Craig S  is getting quite transparent in his official tweets  .
Told us last eve that Stevens ,  Hocking and maybe Thompson lad wouldn't figure further .
But he's also discouraged  moans  re resigned players . . so yes he prob reads Patter .

Shame about Stevens, did he play much at Creepy last year or was he sloshing around in the cess pit that was Evans' back up squad? If he's deteriorated as a player then there's only one cheat to blame for that, he looked a genuine prospect back in 07.

Craig does read patter, he's posted on here and its pretty much a given he's going to toe the official line and say cut the moaning (if not in so many words).......but football's a game of opinions and I'm afraid signing a 36 year old from Holbeach Utd isn't going to meet with universal acclaim from all quarters, nor is a glorified pub player who has the subtlety of a bull in a china shop.

Well ive seen them play and yes Woad pilgrim at the moment i have to say you were right in saying that you would rather see Danny Matson and in particular Alex Beck signed. I know it was only a friendly but...........What was the score?

J S has not played for Crawley for two years  n/f
Agree Big M ,  Danny Matson is a awful player but we did not have a better striker than him on show this afternoon.

Jamie Stevens has been at Farnborough for the last 2 seasons.

33 appearances in 09/10 when they got promoted from Southern Prem to Conf South

18 appearances last season 10/11 when they were play-off losers in Conf South

Does anyone else recall when we signed Jockey back in 2005, he looked unfit in pre season, hadn't played much football at Leeds. wasn't looking great but then banged in 18 goals! From what i hear from canners i think he's gonna do that this season! :D

He did play a fair bit for Walsall 8 games towards the end of the previous season with 6 goals though
