One advantage being non-league is that you can post fixture lists without getting sued.

Horrible opener though...

Why? It's out of the way early, in hopefully better conditions than last time (snow through Yorkshire!) and plenty of time to prepare...

Christmas/New Year games are disappointing - can't see Eastwood bringing many, but then I can't see any teams bringing many other than Halifax.

On the other hand, we've got our biggest money-spinner on the August bank holiday, which will bring in some much needed money at the start of the season.

What a start - longest away trip, then Histon (bit of an unknown quantity) and then Nuneaton, Harrogate and Halifax in 6 days!  10 points from those first 6 games would not be a bad return.

Midweek fixtures don't look too bad apart from Vauxhall away on a Tuesday night in Feb, which is probably one to miss.

Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

We're starting the season in a play-off position and some of our early games are against struggling sides. Workington are bottom of the table and Vauxhall Motors (match 3) are in the relegation zone ...

... Or doesn't it work like that?
