How can we be second favourites when we only have half a team?

GK Bastock
LB - Jelly
CB - Austin
CB/RB - Canners

RM - Semps
CM - Sleath
LM - Hall

CF - Newsh
CF - Suarez

So we are only a centre back/right back and a centre mid away from a full team. Most of the team where first teamers from last season as well. Hall a direct replacement for Yates, only leaves Church and Pearson needing replacing (and possibly SWD if he doesn't sign)

To be honest i didnt think we would be second faves, but at this level they only really take into account last seasons performance and take a wild guess...

I wouldn't put us at 2nd fav's in all fairnes given we've lost 2 quality players in Church and Pearson, but given last season Newsh and Suarez never really got a proper pre-season behind them and neither got much of long run in the the starting XI it could be like having 2 new signings next season with them 2, not defineatly but possible

and although the budget has been reduced i'm sure we'll get the right lads in, that even if we don't do as well as last season, they'll give everything because we've kept enough of this sqaud to keep that 'all in it together' mentality amongest the team

Really? They've lost their benefactor and manager. And they have Cully!
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Our activity so far this pre season doesnt warrant being second faves at all. I would have had us at around 16/1.
