Dudfield Not Staying
« on: May 25, 2011, 07:51:16 AM »
See: http://www.thisislincolnshire.co.uk/sport/Lawrie-Dudfield-turns-chance-sign-Boston-United/article-3590494-detail/article.html

Was hoping he would stay, played well in the couple of games I saw him play.

Were gonna need three new strikers now as I doubt Jason is going to want to be playing every week.

People slated him when we signed him - he proved them wrong.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

He gave his all for the cause, and was absolutely outstanding at home in the semi.

Thanks Laurie, and good luck.

Doesn't sound as though he'll be committing to any club, so if we get injury problems again next season he may be able to help us out.

Considering that he did such a good job for us this season, having not played for 2 years, I'd have no worries about him coming back for 3 or 4 games to help us out, rather than having to use Gainsbrough's reserves!

I thought Dud was quality at the back end of this season, would have loved him to sign again for next season. Maybe when pre-season comes round he may get the bug again.

That was a cracking goal against Blyth - I was hoping he would stay too...

Very disappointed he's not staying, was real gem in the few games he played. With him being good mates with the manager I assumed he would be one of our first signings. Would have been a key player, let's hope Jason can twist his arm later in the season and give him a lift to a few games!
