MP3 - Running Selection
« on: August 09, 2009, 12:38:11 PM »
A couple of weeks ago there was a thread discussing the best songs to exercise to. So, what songs should I load onto my Cowon S9 for this purpose ? I've got Eye of the Tiger as a starter for ten !

Here's the ones that get me moving:

Extreme Ways by Moby
Mama Weer All Crazee Now by Slade
The Prisoner Theme Tune
Stand and Deliver by Adam Ant
I Can See For Miles by The Who
Don't Stop Me Now by Queen
Cum On Feel The Noize by Slade
Don't Leave Me This Way by The Communards
You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive
Whole Lotta Love by Led Zeppelin

Lots of energy in those and a nice running beat.

I log all my runs on a nice web site called RUNNER+. It's got it's own forum and one of the topics is "Whats your Powersong?", so you might get a few ideas if you have a look there.

Mainly Americans with stuff I've never heard of, but the Brits have a few interesting ones. Plastic Bertrand was my favourite.  ;D

You may even find out what effect organic beetroot juice has as well.  ;D
