look at the size of him compared to Hurst!

Pleased though that we've got some beef in the team.

Says here that he scored 4 goals in 8 appearances for Matlock in a loan spell at the end of the season and they had offered him terms, so another good bit of business nicking him from under a competitors nose (like Clarke from Hucknall).

Also said on the O/S that there is a contigency plan for replacing Kirk, could that be Rory Prendergast as he is also a left winger? Anybody know??

Doesn't seem to have scored  much for his other clubs .. but no doubt he'll have his uses...

Would be nice if he brought Jamie Jackson with him from Matlock. He ran rings round last years team at York Street

Jamie Jackson has been trialling at York City in pre-season.

JJ runs rings round defenders about one game in six , in the other five games takes it easy or sits on bench. I think most of us can recall players of similar style playing for BUFC over the years.

cant see davidson and suarez playing together seem very similair types of player to me.i guess it will be 4 into 2 with either of the above playing with newsham or clarke but i guess the managers will know.

Watching us through pre-season  think it will be pick 3 out of the 4 as S & H's preferred formation appears to be 4-5-1 / 4-3-3

As he aint scored many goals recently .. he could hold up the ball behind 1 or 2 strikers..
I  reckon he' ll settle into being a bench warmer..
V tall players are often bench warmers..look at Crouch at Liverpool.. and England
