Reserves V Skegness
« on: April 12, 2011, 11:07:55 PM »
Another good win (7-0) for the second string with Mickey Stones netting 4 of them and unlucky not to add more with the keeper/the woodwork and the lino foiling him on numerous occasions..

Some first teamers got an outing and it was an excellent game to watch and some good football played..

Here's a few pix from last night.

Good, entertaining match, but does ask questions where we go next season with the reserves if the intention is to play first teamers regularly. 7-0 against third in the league shows the huge gap. Not sure it was really fair on Skegness or the regular reserve players who missed out last night.

However, probably a good work out for the first team players and certainly brought out the best of the reserve players - particularly Mickey Stones. Good to see Jason Lee encouraging evryone on the pitch.

I would hope some of the reserves get the chance to impress against Stamford
