Sleath was trying to get the ball from Church but was unsuccessful and Church scored a perfect penalty.

Didn't Bastock once take a penalty during his first spell for the club? Can't remember who it was against or when it was, but I've a vague recollection of it hitting the bar!

Winsford? Hadn't we missed the last 3 or 4?

The last time Sleath took a penalty he fluffed it so I don't blame Church keeping the ball and taking it himself.

I remember Bastock taking a penalty and it crashed against the crossbar. I can't remember who it was against, but I do remember reporting on it in the Tigers fanzine at the time.
