4 for 3
« on: April 05, 2011, 09:53:57 AM »
It seems that there are four teams competing for 3 play off places, assuming Alfreton win the league and Telford come second. Which one will fall by the wayside?. Theres Boston, Nuneaton, Solihull and Guiseley.
It's going to be an exciting run up to the end and just to lose one game in the run up could be the deciding factor.
All I can say is "Come on Boston. Do us proud"

Eastwood are in the mix, especially as they have to face Solihull, Guiseley and Alfreton at the tail end of the season - even if they don't make it they'll have a big say in what happens.

I believe top 4 will be in, with one from Solihull, Guisley and Eastwood.

A win at Telford would be a great result, but would settle for a draw, but expect plently of twists and turns in the run in to the play-off spots.

Telford H Corby 5th-H Boston 9th- A Hinckley 16th - H Vaux Motors 23rd
            A Gloucester 25th - H Harrogate 30th

Alfreton H Guiseley 5th - A Solihull 9th - A Eastwood 12th - A Gloucester 16th
A Harrogate 19th - H Redditch 23rd - A Gainsborough 25th - H Nuneaton 30th

Solihull A Redditch 5th - H Alfreton 9th - A Vaux Motors 16th - H Hinckley 23rd
A Eastwood 25th - H Gainsborough

Eastwood H Droysden 6th - A Redditch 9th - H Alfreton 12th - H Stalybridge 16th
A Worcester 23rd - H Solihull 25th - A Guiseley 30th

Nuneaton H Gainsborough 9th - H Workington 16th - H Boston 25th - A Alfreton 30th

Guiseley A Alfreton 5th - A Worcester 9th - A Droylsden 11th - A Redditch 16th
H Gainsborough 23rd - A Blyth Spartans 25th - H Eastwood 30th

Boston A Telford 9th - H Hyde 16th- H Blyth 23rd - A Nuneaton 25th - H Vaux M 30th
It may go down to the last game of the season for the play-offs

A good few tough away games for Guiseley there.  Good to see that most of the contenders have got to play other teams chasing play off places - if they can take points of each other we must be nearly there!

Wins in the home games will do it, points from Telford & Nuneaton will be a nice bonus

Don't ignore Eastwood...

I went to Eastwood v Hyde last Wednesday and although they only scraped a last minute win Eastwood looked liked a well organized and confident team. They are clearly on a great run and will be dangerous if they make it into the play offs. Having said that our new management duo didn't look too impressed with what they saw (good to see them doing their homework)
