Wonder if the FA come knocking on the door of Crawley Town sometime in June.....?

Are Crawley Town getting a new ground because their current one only holds about 4500?

I thought the minimum for the Football League was 6500.

Yes, well done to the Crawley TEAM - but when does the FA and FL start looking at the 'proper person' rules?

the "Fit and proper person" test is an absolute joke, i wouldn't take any notice of that

If this is true this will not bother them 2 much as grace up to 5 years can be granted.

I think you need 4000 capacity with 1500 seats, and be capable of reaching 5000 with 2000 seats within 2 years
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Here's the link from the football league website with ground capacity requirements.

http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20100801/appendix-1_2293633_2128158

4000 with 500 seats when you win promotion

5000 with 1000 seats after 1 season

5000 with 2000 seats after 3 seasons (is that why we had to add the green seats at the York Street end?)

Yes but it must have changed a little as we wasnt under pressure to get the seats in untill season 5.

From today's Brighton Argus:

"Steve Evans has slammed Luton for failing to acknowledge Crawley’s Conference title win.

The Hatters’ players refused to provide the customary guard of honour before Tuesday’s Broadfield clash which finished 1-1.

Evans said: “I did expect the Luton players to give my players a guard of honour but obviously they were told not to do that.

“I know a number of the Luton players personally and I know what was said to them about a guard of honour but I won’t compromise them or embarrass the individuals concerned. It is disappointing to say the least but it won’t change where we are heading next season.

“Luton Town are the giant football club in the Blue Square Bet premier and they should help set the standards. They have the most fantastic supporters and had it been reversed and they were champions they would have expected it from us. The difference is we would have done it.

“I can remember on one occasion I was alongside my (Boston United) players in a guard of honour after Doncaster Rovers were champions. It is only right and respectful.”

Evans just doesn't get it does he. As I said earlier in the season, you have to earn respect not buy it. Despite the clubs success, Crawley will be tainted all the time Bent Evans is the manager."

Nice to see a local expressing the views of the Sussex fans. I seem to remember a similar case some years ago (although I can't remember the clubs involved) where the manager stated: I'm not letting my players cow-tow to that lot. Let 'em beat us first then they might get their bloody guard of honour on the way off.

Grantham were big enough to do it to us after we beat them here too.

Can't remember if Kings Lynn did the same on Easter Monday, I think they did.

Bu respect has to be earned, and Evans will never get anyones respect, its something his 'backers' money can't buy.

Maybe a brisk walk at a push down the tunnel or a quick waddle, but chase suggests breaking into a run.
