Just got back, only short drive from Lincoln for me. First half they were on top, it was a defensive mix up for our goal. Good strike to equalise for them. Second half we looked a lot more assured and Suarez took his goal well. Their second goal was straight from the corner, sailed over Butch's head. Overall a good solid performance. Well done lads. ;)

Did they attract more than 26 fans for a home friendly?

You have to admit, the expectations are getting higher as each week passes. Marc Newsham has netted six times in pre-season, the entire squad have fought for every ball, there is a determination from the players to succeed and the supporters have been in their decent numbers at all the matches so far. Like Yazz sung back in the late 1980`s ` The only way is up ` Hopefully these players will make it happen.
I believe Hurst and Scott have assembled a decent squad who are 100% committed to Boston United. We are probably lacking in depth in some areas but im sure a few more signings are round the corner.
Roll on a fortnights time.

UP THE PILGRIMS !

just got back and must agree with most of wombles comments. thought the defence looked a lot more composed and confident with evans behind them but not quite the same with butch in and just when we looked to be heading for a deserved win they scored direct from a corner with the goalie missing in action.not picking on butch just saying what happened today but to be fair he has just returned from illness too.church got a very silly booking today as well . no prendergast today either dont know if thats it for him or not.

Dick and Dom would be a damn site easier to shout out in support on a matchday
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

butcher has played two games and conceded two which were his fault. The one at lincoln was terrible and how can anyone score from a corner???? Surely he cant be the number 1, well i certainly hope not!!!!
