Bad news in general and timing very unhelpful.

Respect for the job the managers have done - galvanised the team and some impressive results.

Lack of respect for the timing of their decision, seems unnecessary with only a few games left until the end of the season, thought they would like to finish the job they started. Serious lack of loyalty to the club and more importantly to the owners.

Hope they can cope with the new moaners they will encounter at Grimsby. Of course takes a moaner to know one, some do it from the stands others from the touchline....... it really is no different.

Grimsby is a step up (in theory) so have no problem with their career planning, but their timing shows a lack of respect to all at BUFC.

Having listened to Scotty Daltons post match interview with Rob Scott again,  when Rob was asked about the Grimsby job, he denied having spoken to Grimsby (perhaps disappointed that Grimsby hadn't been in contact with Boston United) but then proceeded to "advertise how good both he and Paul Hurst are."  In other words - he was putting the pair "up for sale".

Then the approach was made by Grimsby the following day.

Although speculation on my part - I have no doubt that Scott wanted out after the match on Saturday and needed to advertise his skills.
