We all have to understand there is no loyalty in football ,this happens and all you can do is thank them for their contribution and claim the compensation. Its no good blaming a team from a higher division for trying to poach your manager. Nobody moaned when we sign players from other teams during the season. Lets dust ourselves down and get on with it.

     TIMING
You have to take the chance when it comes ,it may not come again. A chance to go fulltime closer to home ,to manage in a higher div really is a no-brainer. How many of us would really want to deny one of our players a chance to play fulltime football . managers have dreams as well as players, so please lets not start sniping and slagging off the two people amongst others that have given us almost two seasons of entertaining football and a club and team to be proud of.

I doubt we'll be short of quality applicants, given that our Board made the right decision last time around.

Onwards and upwards.

Fair play to RS and PH, they've deservedly got a full time job. But if they had waited just two months, we ourselves could have got them full time football at a higher level. If we didn't get promoted, then i'm sure a BSP club would have offered them a job somewhere anyway. The timing of this is horrible.

I wouldn't find Jason Lee and Canners as joint managers. Worked wonders with Barrow when we were last in the BSN, it got them promoted, why couldn't it still work in this case?

Here comes another few weeks of speculation!

Give it to Canners and Lee until the end of the season, if they want it, then look again in the summer.

Probably spot on there re the fulltime. One or two players are probably wanting fulltime for next season too and could change things here a bit if not guaranteed.
Personally wish them both well and thanks for all they have done for BUFC.

Scotty had better watch out though. They have already started with all the Chuckle Brothers stuff on the Fishy Forum.

completely agree with faraway pilgrim. SnH were allways moving on from us and this seems to good an opportunity to pass up. Timing is poor for us but at look at where we are now against where we were before them. There must be some quality managers out there at our level who would look at what we have and what we could be and take us on to the next level. Thanks SnH and good luck.

How about Graham Drury from Corby, might be worth a sniff.  Or the 2 lads doing the job at Kings Lynn, both up and coming, and seem to be getting more right than wrong.

How about Neil Allison of North Ferriby Utd? 3rd in the league on a shoestring budget.
Or Mark Atkins of Matlock Town, he would hopefully bring 28 goal Ross Hannah with him.

The timing is just absolutley awfull really to get new managers in.

We are in aposition now which not many people expected at the start of the season (play offs) hopefully the players can push on now and more importantantly the fans REALLY get behind every single player, this season can so easily finish up being a corker if everyone can stick together!
A moaney clapper!......... best of both worlds
