Replacements?

As the news appears to be true, who are realistic replacements? People who aren't washed up! Any other up-and-coming young managers that would be a good investment?

That's a good shout,and one i have mentioned since this Grimsby business first reared its ugly head.I remember him being interviewed on the o/s after a game earlier in the season during his short spell back.He spoke very intellingently about how they were trying to play.Think he's doing his coaching badges as well.

To say I'm shocked is an understatement, particularly at this time of the season and with the position we are in now.
Hurst is a lovely guy, Scotty a different kettle of fish.  Very driven and ambitious but not very friendly.
When I take the Match sponsors round the dressing rooms etc he would always go out of his way to avoid us which is not good PR.
However, you can't let it detract from the job they did for us, and I wish them well(ish)!!!!!!!!

Simon Clarke well respected in his time as a coach at Lincoln and not done a bad job at Stamford ;)

Tash,you having a laugh mate?Stamford are in a mess,just look at their league position.He's not exactly popular with the Stamford fans either if you have a look on their forum.

Put it this way, with our position, squad, owner/chairman, support and potential for going at least a step higher in the not to distant future we should have plenty of interest from very decent candidates.

Probably applying as we speak!
