Same type of appointment as last time please DN, no washed up has-beens.

Whose going to take temporary charge? Steve Welsh?

Moore on a temporary til end of season?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Can't imagine we could afford someone like Ronnie Moore or Jim Gannon?  They are full time managers, with no other job to fall back on.  I wouldn't expect them to be short of offers at the end of the season, if not before.

Can't see why someone like that would want to drop down to our level for a month to try and get us promoted.  What's in it for them?

How about Graham Drury from Corby, might be worth a sniff.  Or the 2 lads doing the job at Kings Lynn, both up and coming, and seem to be getting more right than wrong.
I hope not - any way how are Corby doing lately?

For me, the successful candidate will be a young and ambitious, perhaps looking for his first role in management. Previous playing experience in senior non-league and the lower Football League preferred. The successful appointee will inherit a young squad, and will therefore need excellent motivational skills and demonstrable experience of leading by example. Ideally we should look to appoint someone who is Boston United "through and through", and who is well respected by the chairman and the majority of the supporters.

When can you start, Mr Ellender?

Realistically though, we're not going to get Arsene Wenger. And it wouldn't be any worse than Steve Thompson's style of football, would it?

Art imitates life...Rob Scott's just left Boston United on my latest Football Manager save.

What's John Beck doing these days?

common sense dictates that a manager whether brought in externally or someone already working at the club would only get the job until the end of the season as we don't know whether we'll be full time or part time yet as we will not know what league we will be in. We need a manager right now that knows the majority of the players in our squad and a decent knowledge of the BSBN. If we get promoted then the whole scenario will be different with a Different league to neg and possibly full time football.

I personally like the sound of Lee Canoville and Jason Lee pairing up to manage the team until the end of the season. Both know the league we are in and BOTH know all the players at the club (Barring the loan players in Lee's case of course!) I think it is essential we get someone that the players know then re-assess at the end of the season.
