Jimmy Fell
« on: February 03, 2011, 02:01:44 PM »
I was saddened to read of the death of Jimmy Fell. Jimmy was part of the Don Donovan period that saw the Club reemerge from virtual obscurity. A wonderfully talented and skilful left-winger who mesmorised many an unsuspecting full-back in the West Midlands League. Jimmy complimented the speedy Dave Robinson on the right with his mazy runs and crosses from the left to the prolific goalscorer Jimmy Rayner.

A true legend - RIP.

Jimmy Fell Footballer,     He came from an period when footballers were footballers, Rain, Hail, or Shine, The footballers of that era gave their all in matches, not like the prima donna money chasing mercenaries that infest the higher leagues of our national game of football today,   I hope BUFC request a minutes applause before the next home game,  (  Telford  )   for a really true great BUFC legend.   Condolences to his family.  Rest in Peace Jimmy.
