Seems a shame in a way that we let him go. If only he could have stayed fit when he was at Boston. Whilst last season was very disapointing, if Ollie Ryan and Leabon where fit all season; could it have been a different story?

It would have been papring over cracks though. The clean sweep through the playing staff is make or break time.

with abit of effort from the others (apart from those who did who we've commented on too many times)

you never know it may well of been different

lets just concenrtrate on the season ahead , not going back to the past

Good luck Kieran, you always looked a class above, hopefully you can prove it now to those who doubted.
Here's to an injury free 2009/10!

I spoke to Leabon at an away game last season think it was Kendal. I asked him why he wasn't playing, as he had been warming up with team before kick off. He said he had been told he was playing, then just before kick off they withdrew him and told him he was injured. He reckoned there was nothing wrong with himself?

Anyone that has played at any level at all, be it pub to premershite knows that a player however injured they maybe will always say they are fit enough to start.

This sort of player shd have been offered to clubs for a small fee..with  a wacking sell-on clause in the contract ..
He'  s still young  enough   to do a lot better..!
See Cambridge expect 500k from someone on a sell-on or similar..

wouldn't we of had to offer the same terms to him  or more than last year before we are entitled to a fee, problem is he may just of signed up then.

fTed,Kieran was not offered a contract,so no "fee" is applicable. You can get compensation for a player(aged 24 or under) if that player is offered terms(which he refuses)if those terms are better,or equal to,his prevous contract.
