Played well against us at their place would be a good signing IMO, took the banter well too.

Didn't he play for Hucknall against us last season?

The O/S is reporting the signing of Dan Haystead; after reading the above posts; seems like a decent signing.

Does this mean Jimmy has played his last game for us or is tomorrow his last debut ?
From what I understand he's likely to play 1st team football with posh as they're fighting to hold onto to number one goalkeeper Joe Lewis, while number two Steve Collis is thought to be heading for the exit as well. It will be interesting to see how he handles the return to League 1 football.
Either way, I just want to say what an excellent keeper he's been for us. Undoubtedly he's contributed towards breaking that record amount of clean sheets with his excellent performances.

All the best for the future James.

I've seen Dan Haystead play a few times for Quorn. He was on loan there for a spell from Hinckley a couple of seasons back. Decent enough keeper at that level, but obviously Unibond South is a couple of levels below Blue Square North. Still, seems to have been getting good reviews this season though.

From what I can remember he isn't the biggest of goalkeepers (in terms of frame). But I seem to remember he was vocal and dished out plenty of instructions to the defenders in front of him (which is good for a goalkeeper). Or maybe he just seemed more vocal because of the lack of crowd noise at Quorn?
