Todays Match Referee has passed City's pitch fit to play in this afternoons FA Trophy 1st Round tie v Boston United,K.O. 3.00pm.

However more help is needed to clear the pitch of the remaining snow and volunteers are requested to turn up this morning with plastic snow shovels to help.

 :snowman there has been a massive thaw in the last 2 days but yorks drainage system should ensure make sure the pitch doesn't become a bog. according to york city website, the pitch is in good condition. hopefully plenty of boston fans turn up. my concern is our match fitness. the last 20 mins will tell.
