TWO BOSTON Town youngsters have been called up for the English Schools’ FA Under 18 trials.
Alan Carr and Dan Schiavi are among 19 players selected for the Midlands squad.
They hope to see some action in their game against the North squad at Halton Stadium in Widnes on Saturday (November 13).
Midfielder Schiavi has been a Town first team regular since following manager Martyn Lakin to Tattershall Road from Bourne in the summer.
Carr made his debut for the the Poachers shortly after his 16th birthday.
The pair were selected after attending regional trials at Belper Town last month.
There will be final trials later in November and final squad games and training at the national sports centre at Lilleshall in December ahead of next year’s Under 18 Centenary Shield.
Fixtures include games against Scotland and the Republic of Ireland which are due to be shown on Sky Sports.
