Football Manager 11
« on: October 24, 2010, 09:46:57 PM »
Downloaded the new Demo last night to take advantage of Boston being on the game again.

Was wondering if anyone else had taken the plunge and how they were finding it?

Lasy year there was updates on the Sports interactive forums that let you play down to a couple of leagues lower then boston town so there was still no problem playing as us from the start :D

I've played it for a bit - found it quite funny that Hurst was kept on as my assistant, and Rob Scott was fired when I joined - shame they couldn't have made them co-managers in the game. Boston's squad depth is great, though the board expect you to finish 8th with Boston which isn't easy. Certianly going to enjoy the challenge this year.

Unfortunately, there wasn't the facility to put in joint-managers, so I had to set Scott as manager and Hurst as assistant.
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

Just finished the demo, up to Jan 1st, game looks really good. Got Boston up to 1st, seems pretty easy to get out of the league so gonna continue the saved game into the full version of the game. Btw, Anyone get Mckeown to renew his loan as he's the best player by far for us!

Been looking forward to this for ages, I got on the editor and added us in last year but the badge and player pictures are something special.

Haven't played the demo even though I've downloaded it, don't want to ruin the full game so I've just had a look around the squads. Rest assured Boston will be my first game in a few weeks

Use an i.p proxy based in europe and that should allow you to install it through steam?

On the demo, I had a decent season going - got to the 2nd Round of the FA Cup, going out to Brighton after a replay.

Didn't sign many players - only if Hurst or a scout recommended them that they'd make the team, and were cheap. Starting a new game with the patch today.

have to admit to trying it out but after 5 broken legs in 3 games gave it up as another bug ridden affair . Sorry to say now that these games are just patch after patch now with the customer doing what should have been the Beta testing .

Bought the full game today, started as Boston again

2nd after 6 games, 5 wins and 1 defeat away at Corby. Scored 17 and conceded 2.

McKeown's out for six weeks.

But Spence is one hell of a player for the BSBN! 8 in 4 for me
