whos scored the goals

Looked like a Liam Parker tap in for the first goal and a Mikel Suarez strike forr the second. Might have a pic or two uploaded shortly.

United fans celebrating on the way home after the game.

Don't mention the trains...

First day of the school holidays and the same problem as every year - lots of people wanting to get to Skegness in rather small trains. Only just managed to get a seat on the train from Grantham.  >:(

Just got home from a brilliant friendly and certainly well worth the fiver entrance. A lot more entertaining from a supporters point of view than the Lincoln City game. There's definately a more encouraging feel about United and the way they communicate amongst themselves on the pitch. The signs are starting to show that this could be a confident and productive team this season. Midfield is holding posession well and passing good. The back are holding reasonably well and tackling better. It's the front where I think we may need to focus more on. The two friendlies have shown that there's not much focus on getting shots in. It's far from perfect but we're in the early stages of creating an almost entire new squad. Us fans have to be patient in waiting for the team to gel.
I just get the feeling from these new players that we're moving positively into a new ere of BUFC and that the players in the shirt will do us loyal and dedicated fans proud.
I'd like to thank everyone at Boston Town for their hospitality and making it such an enjoyable match.

I thought they were puttin on longer trains in the summer...promises..promises
Knowing who runs the franchise now.. Im not surprised at the overcrowding.

Agree with much of PoL's post. Not sure we've got it right up front yet,but there are signs of things coming together.I remain (cautiously) optomistic. ;D
