I thought this was a wind up until I double checked on OS. Lets hope he's improved with age. Saying nothing else until I see him play.

I refer people back to comments I made about Davidson.  Some people just don't and will never see the benefit of a big man up front.  Jason Lee was quality for us before and won't have lost the pace he never had so should fill the gap left by DD's injury.  He won't be mobile but teams will use up both plan a and b stopping both him and SWD
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

I CAN see the advantages of having a tall holding players, but now we've got 3 players that can do exactly the same job. Granted Danny is out for a month or so, Mikel will be back soon.

Jason Lee was superb when he was with us years ago! FACT. He may be a few years older now but he's competing a couple if leagues lower too! I for one think he will cause bug problems for most defences in the league. With SWD partnering him he WILL be a 'big' asset! Time will tell but we should be very pleased with the signing.......
Sad to see Liam leave tho - hope he will be back training with us when fit.

This must mean Suarez and Davison aren't gonna be back for a few weeks. He will do a job and his experience will help, may bring the best out of SWD. Not a typical Hurst & Scott signing though, this is the first player they have signed who is past their best. I should think he will only be here for a month or two until others are fit again.

The bit on the o/s about DD suggests he could miss much of October. As i understand it Mikel could also still be 3/4 weeks away from playing.Given that,i can understand why Jason has been broght in.I liked Jason, and defenders will know they've been in a game.

LT never needs a touch to get a penalty, makes Walshaw look like a novice.

jason lee is just what we need in a time when we are lacking big forwards but downt expect him to strike, expect him to knock it down to SWD and defences could be in trouble
