me and few others are thinking we may go on train next week to Alfreton

But does anyone know how many people are needed for a 'group' ticket ?

How long does it take and what time trains?Might use my friends and family card!

train leaves about 11 gets there about 1

3 or 4 adults for the price of 2 - so half price if 4 travel. You can then add children to the group for £1.

A tip - don't get a Boston - Alfreton return. Get a Boston - Nottingham & Nottingham - Alfreton return - it's cheaper.

Without a railcard, this'll cost £20.40 against £26.20. With a railcard it's £13.45 against £17.30.
