An Audience with Joe Royle
« on: September 02, 2010, 01:56:28 PM »
If anybody fancies a night out this evening, Joe Royle is our special guest in The Pilgrim Lounge at 8pm.

He will be talking about his illustrious career and answering fans' questions.

Food is also included in the £12 ticket price.

Still a few tickets available - which can be purchased on the door.

Evening expected to conclude around 10.30pm.

It was a superb evenings entertainment-JR was an excellent choice, humble, professional and totally honest and down to earth with his views and responses to the audience.
And at £12 a ticket it was good value.-the steak and kidney pie was excellent!
Another goods night entertainment at the Pilgrim lounge-all credit to Craig and the club for organising the event.
If you didnt go-shame on you-you missed out!

Just want to echo that.

Joe was fantastic with everyone who went up to him. He seemed to spend an awful lot time chatting to people and nothing was too much trouble.

It's one thing being a legend on the pitch, he seems to be one off it as well. Top bloke.

Totally agree, a really good night. Joe Royle was tremendous and echo the previous poster who called him a true Legend. Even the 15 Reserve Team lads that were there and are too young to even know who he was enjoyed the night. It was good to see them all there showing their support for the club.
Thank you to all who attended and made it a good night.
...and apparently we are nearly sold out of tickets for the next Sportsmans Dinner featuring Matt le Tissier in November ....so get yours now!
