Will there be a service this season? I have heard that these threads have been outlawed, but that may be only for Premiership and League clubs.

It appears that Dataco (the organisation that managed to copyright the fixture lists) has banned the threads that were broadcast last season by newspapers, but not those that were done by the clubs.

There are a couple of grey areas:

It is unclear whether non-league clubs are affected at this stage.

There may be fees involved if clubs wish to continue with their own transmissions.

This is a recent development and some provincial newspapers are attempting to find ways round the ban.
