The match is raising money for Wishes 4 Kids.

15 a side and Austin Healey playing for Leicester?  Jason Lee will make a good second row!

Matt Elliot sat in the away dugout recently, can't remember who it was with though?

Serge Pizzorno

Anychance of him giving a signed copy of the first album for use as a little nonleague teams run out music?
So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Match took place this afternoon. Finished 4-4 and rumours that it may be turned into an annual charity event.

Jason Lee played the first half for Forest and Julian Joachim played about an hour for Leicester. Gary Mills also put in a stint. Plenty of other well-known players around - Des Lyttle, Steve Chettle, David Johnson, Phil Starbuck, Steve Walsh, Gerry Taggart, Matt Elliott, Ally Mauchlen and Muzzy Izzett spring to mind - plus a load of others I didn't actually really remember. Someone called Duffield played for Forest and it rang a bell because of our ex-player Peter Duffield, though it I can't remember anyone of that name turning out for Forest. Izzett looks like he could still do a job for someone in non-league, and may have left the game too early, but generally most of the players had seen a lot better days. Matt Elliott has put a lot of weight on. Reasonable entertainment though - with a fiver admission and all proceeds to charity you really can't complain.

I think Muzzy Izzett had knee trouble, but he was a very decent player in his day. My guess is he's not up to 2 games a week now else he's still be playing at a reasonable level.
