I doubt they'd be allowed into English League grounds becuase they could be used as an offensive weapon. But are we likely to see them in Blue Square North next season?

Un-doubtably  ;D

So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

Just watching the Camaroon/Japan game (so boring) and heared the commentators say that fifa have been discussing banning the noisy little buggers from games but Have decided Not to because it's a cultural thing. Last time we have a world cup in Africa. Imagine having the world cup in Holland and everybody in the ground smoking pot, because it's a cultural thing.

Bloody annoying.

Vuvuzelas made in China hardly a cultural thing!! Apparently only made an appearance at football matches in the last few years - as opposed to the traditional singing which of course you can no longer hear for all those buzzing bees.

Give us all a break and ban them.

Got used to them now; just tune off to them and you'll be fine.   To be fair it beats listening to the 'Official England Band' badly sponsored by the 'insert cr@p tabloid paper here'...

Looks like one english football club as got the guts to ban the Vuvuzelas from their stadium, Come on BUFC follow the lead of Whyteleafe FC, There is bound to be some idiots who will want to bring it into the Jakemans Stadium.  I would much prefer singing and chanting to those horrible foghorns which drown out everything.

LEAFE BAN VUVUZELAS
17/06/2010

Ryman League Division One South club Whyteleafe today became the first team in the country to ban Vuvuzelas.

Whyteleafe secretary Chris Leyton announced that the Vuvuzela has been banned from the club both inside the ground and clubhouse.

Following widespread negative comments from club members and a wider British audience, the club have decided to ban the Vuvuzela from all matches at Church Road from now on.

Anyone bringing a Vuvuzela to the clubhouse during the World Cup will be asked to leave it outside before being admitted to the clubhouse to watch the matches on the big screen, and when the season starts, will not be permitted to take them into the ground.

Whyteleafe believe this will be a very popular move with fans who have widely condemned the Vuvuzela which has spoilt the atmosphere at most of the World Cup matches and wish to ensure that fans can enjoy and support football in the traditional way at `Leafe.

Having watched the Italy match, and seen all the empty seats, if it hadn't have
been for those damn horns it would have been like playing behind closed doors!
