appendix e

there's an article on bbc sport about salisbury that suggests that the appendix e rule will be scrapped at the weekend, the very rule that put us down to the unibond. If it's scrapped due to it being unjust where would that leave us in terms of ability to appeal?

In truth i agree this should be scrapped, but only after it has been enforced this term. (i e nv) As far as appeal i would rather just get on and play footy. whats done is done its in the past now so its just time to look forward and put it all behind us.

it's a tricky one isn't it- we're back in the league we got kicked out of but have suffered reduced revenues for two years because of it. I guess you have to weigh up whether the cost of appeal would outweigh the likely benefits if we won. I do agree it should be applied this term though, teams knew it existed, though the inland revenue seem to have done a proper job on salisbury!
