Managerial Merry-go-round
« on: May 18, 2010, 06:49:44 AM »

According to Sky Sports sources this morning, Steve Cotterill is now talking to Coventry City...

If that move comes off, how long will it be before a certain person often talked about on this forum is linking himself with the vacancy at Notts County?

Meanwhile another former Pilgrims manager, Howard Wilkinson, has become interim chairman of Sheffield Wednesday...

It will be Cotterill's greatest achievement to date if he does anything at Coventry. I think it now 9 years since they were relegated from the Premiership and in all that time they've never got close to the play offs and have gone through about 8 managers. Add to that the fact they sold Highfield Rd to pay off debts and now rent the Ricoh Arena and are still massively in debt and you can see another very likely candidate for administration.

Of course Coventry's problems will seem insignificant if the person LP alludes to gets the Notts job........ :-\
