Facilities @ Marine
« on: April 19, 2010, 09:26:11 AM »
I understand that it is street parking and with a big following I know it will be hard to park, so we are planning to get there early. But, does anybody know if there is anywhere we can get something to eat nearby?

There used to be a decent Chinese takeaway nearby and some of the Tigers fans were talking about a very good fish & chip shop close by that they sampled this season.

Personally, I tried the food on the ground. WARNING!! Do not have the burgers. I can safely say it was the worst burger I have had at any ground. When I mentioned this on NLZ a Marine fan admitted they are bad and that they boil the burgers not grill/fry them. It was very watery! On the plus side I am reliably informed the pies, sausage rolls, etc. are good.

I remember from last year, the complaints about the plastic burgers...
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

There is car info on the official site, sounds like there ain't much parking but they are opening some park up for us.

All i could find was

Car Parking
Parking in the Club Car Park is reserved for Match Officials & Players only. Parking is available in the nearby streets. Please note that College Road has restricted parking for only an hour - this is patrolled by traffic wardens. Additional parking can be found at Crosby Marina [15 minutes walk].

Ignore me, I'd read it for some tinpot cup we're gonna do our best to avoid playing the first team in and merged it with the marine info we're being bombarded with.
