O/T Global Dimming

I am one of the biggest global warming sceptics around.  I think that the green tax is a con and my old Dad used to say " if they could tax the air we breathe they would " and I think they have found a way of doing this.

A few years back I saw a programme about Global Dimming.  Tests have proved that sunlight is about 40% dimmer than in the 1950's.

They put it down to the ozone layer reflecting the sun back into outer space.  By accident they found a major contributor was air travel.  After 9/11 flights where limited over the USA for several days, in this period they found that daylight was brighter.

Is it just me or have these last few days been brighter than usual?

Perhaps I just feel happy because WE ARE GOING TO WIN THE LEAGUE
