Interesting to note that in League 2, our dear old friends the Whingeing Mockneys managed an attendance of 2004 for a local derby against Barnet that got them into a play-off position...

Another fantastic effort today towards promotion. Started off shakey, FCUM were quite a physical team shoving us off the ball. Great free kick by them to take the lead. After a while we seemed to realise we needed to be stronger and play our own game. Credit to the players, they carried on batttling away and pushing forwards. As Woad Pilgrim mentioned, it was the final touch that just didn't happen and how Spence didn't get a goal before the first half is beyond me. The managers made the wise decision of changing things 2nd half and that worked wonders by putting Danny and Yates on. We always looked liked scoring with FCUM quite happy to let us attack them. After the equaliser we ran riot and played with bags of confidence. We looked hungry for more goals and carried on playing the way we do. Only complaint is, why do we always save our best performances until we go behind, it's not good for people of a nervous dispersition lol. I guess it makes winning all that bit more sweeter on the otherhand. Loved every second of this season, never felt so happy as a Pilgrim. Whatever happens now will happen, thanks to all the players, the managers and chairman and directors for restoring this great club back to it's former self.
Happy days with BUFC

So many people have come and gone, their faces fade as the years go by.
Yet I still recall as I wander on, as clear as the sun in the summer sky.

"divine intervention was beyond my wildest dreams and how ironic that the goal that put us ahead was scored by.........................Church!"

Rocking Rev - do you honestly believe that we won the game today because God was on our side?

Oops, wrong opponents. They were playing Burton and got 1891 - an even crapper attendance.

Really enjoyed my day today. Overall you deserved to win but IMO 4-1 flatterd you, great noise from both sets of fans, all the best Boston and hope you make it to the Blue square north, the odd dick head from our end and the few in your end tried to mare it but the Boston fans was fantastic.

what happened at the end with the fans? I heard someone comment when we were stood waiting for the presentations. Hope it didn't ruin an otherwise perfect day.

Pearson winning all the awards has made my year.  Although it would have been nice for Churchy to get one or two because this season has been a full team effort, whereas last season Millson had no competition.

If Pearson plays for us for the first league game next season, whichever league it may be, I will be absolutely amazed. He is awesome.
