If you spell them like that then they'll be away!

I think they will stay, it will take one of non-leagues biggest clubs like Oxford/Wimbledon etc to lure them away from a team on the up and a big club would be unlikely to take a risk on them.

The chairman seems to be supportive of his managers, hopefully they can take us to Blue Square Prem within too long, that would be an achievement

That was due to Ilkeston's hesitancy in offering them the job full time
I create YouTube videos (BUFC/FM/CM 01-02), and stream Football Manager on Twitch as BostonUnitedFM.

You only had to look at the poor facilities at Ilkeston last night and then compare them with ours to see that they couldn't fail to be impressed with us.

ABSOLUTELY NO CONTEST!

One assumed that the deal - even if unspoken - was that the managers would continue with us to progress up the leagues. With BUFC having more potential that many others in this league or indeed clubs in higher leagues.

Of course this is pending no silly offers coming in for them from elsewhere .....

I may be wrong but didn't they sign a two year deal with us, I'm sure I recall David announcing that when they were introduced to us at the Fans Forum pre-season.

Yeah at the press conference I am sure they said that we want to get out of the league in two seasons but then one of them said that they want to get promoted in their first season.

Main thing is we've got 2 brilliant managers who know what they want and know exactly how to achieve them in a professional manor. You can't ask for any more.
In Scott & Hurst we trust.

To be perfectly honest though, I've now been to every single ground in the Unibond League Premier Division and I reckon Ilkeston is in the top four in terms of best facilities. I'd put only Boston, FC United and Nantwich ahead of it. Whitby is perhaps on a par. But in short the setup at Ilkeston is one of the best at this level of football.

And I have to say that the Ilkeston / Worksop pitch was in immaculate condition given (a) that two teams use it and (b) that it had staged a match the night before. It certainly put their neighbours Matlock to shame.
